LETTER FROM THE PASTOR

Church Family:

Beginning March 22, 2020, we made changes as a church that we never had imagined due to the pandemic.  First going online only, then meeting in the parking lot and on May 31st we began meeting in our gym and also continued online services as well.   The Lord had provided everything we needed, chairs, sound equipment, and staging!
In the midst of all the uncertainty God was moving and providing a remodel of our worship area valued at $40,000 to $50,000 at no cost to the church!

On October 4th we moved back into the main worship area.  We have also begun Sunday School and resumed Life Groups on Sunday nights.  Our Student Ministry is meeting on Wednesday nights, and we are planning to begin our children’s ministry (Awana and Club 56) on Wednesday nights in January.

Despite the pandemic, politics, and chaos in our country, we know the Lord is in control.  In the midst of our circumstances we can find peace, comfort, and joy in our “Living Hope” – Jesus Christ!
In Philippians 4:4-7 Paul writes that we are to rejoice always, turn our anxiety and worries into prayer – to have a thankful heart and worship the Lord!

We are praying for a spiritual awakening in our hearts, our church, and our country.  Beginning in January 2021, we are challenging our church to read through the New Testament together.  Our messages, Sunday School, and some small discipleship groups will be reading and studying the New Testament – being more intentional in our teaching and discipleship, and walking through the bible together.  We are praying for true discipleship that not only transforms our church, but our community!

I encourage you to pray, read, reach out, and invite!  Come worship with us!

Loving God, Loving Others!
