Dirty Perty

Little Miss Perty,
Was known to be dirty,
She wore a white dress into town,
But when she came home,
Her dress was a mess,
And it and her shoes were both brown.

Little Miss Perty
Was known to be dirty,
She liked to brush mud in her hair,
But when she was done,
And had finished her fun,
Her hair stood up without care.

Little Miss Perty,
Was known to be dirty,
She liked to smell like a pig,
And when she passed by,
People would cry,
The odor was far, far too big.

Little Miss Perty,
Was known to be dirty,
She liked to dig in the trash,
She’d find a good snack,
And her lips would go smack,
As she ate it up in a flash.

Little Miss Perty,
Was known to be dirty,
Cause dirtiness was all that she knew,
Then she took a shower,
And had some soap power,
And her old way of living was through.

Dirtiness
Very few people live like Dirty Perty—at least in a physical
way. But many people live very dirty lives before God.
“Defiled” is a way of saying that something is spiritually
dirty, but God wants us to live clean lives and to always do
what is right.
Dirty Perty was also known by her action. You too will be
known by what you do.
The Bible says in Proverbs 20:11, “Even a child is known by
his actions, whether his activity is pure and whether it is
right.”
